Meet Our Teachers
Ms. Leah is the owner of Dancing for Him Studio. She teaches Ballet levels 2, 5, and 6, Hip Hop levels 1 and 2, and Theater.
Hi! My name is Leah Spencer. I have 12 years of ballet training, and various experience with theater, tap, hip hop, contemporary, jazz, and swing dance. I taught two summer ballet camps in New Mexico at ages 12 and 13, and taught at Christ in the Arts studio for three years. I started this studio in June of 2024, and have been teaching classes since. It’s one of my greatest blessings to get to be a part of my student’s lives and have the privilege of teaching them.
Ms. Emma teaches Ballet levels 3, 4, and 6, Contemporary, and assists in Ballet level 1.
Hi! My name is Emma Waters. I have 16 years of training in various dance styles including, Classical Ballet, Contemporary, Partnering, Modern, Jazz, Hip-hop, and Musical Theatre. I have had the honor of teaching dance classes at Christ in the Arts for the past 3 years. My ultimate desire for my students is that they come to experience the presence and love of God as they dance. I want to show my students that dance is an expression of worship. And that when they dance, whether in the studio, on stage, or at home, God loves to watch them dance.
Ms. Grace teaches Ballet level 1.
Hi! My name is Grace Holt. I have 13 years of ballet training at Christ in the Arts. I am so grateful that my ballet instructors pushed me and taught me so much that I now get to teach the next upcoming generation of dancers. I’m so very blessed that I get to teach and be a part of my amazing students’ lives.
Ms. Harlie assists in Ballet Level 2 and Ballet Level 3.
Hi! I am Harlie Von Theumer. I am 15 years old, and have been dancing for about 2 years. I have taken both ballet and contemporary styles, and am starting pointe this fall. I really enjoy dancing and worshipping Christ through dance. It is an honor to be able to help teach children in learning how dance is another way to worship Christ.
Ms. Kynzie
Hello! My name is Kynzie Morgan. I have over 15 years of dance experience, primarily focused on ballet and a few other styles including: contemporary, musical theatre, hip hop, and partnering. I’m excited to share my passion for dance as a first-time dance teacher! Sharing God’s love through movement is such an incredible feeling, and one of my favorite forms of worship. I hope to continue sharing His word by teaching others.
